Jai Malkani is the Global Head of Product for Customer Obsession at Uber, leading technology strategy and development for AI-powered customer experience, communication platforms, and Agentic AI automation across all of Uber’s core businesses — Rides, Eats, and Grocery. As a key member of the technology leadership team at Uber, Jai has led global, multi-disciplinary teams to scale Uber's platforms to 10 billion+ trips/orders, 100 million+ MAUs, across 10K+ cities worldwide.
Jai has 20+ years of leadership experience in pre-IPO and public, global consumer and enterprise technology companies: Uber, VMware, Symantec, Apple, and Cisco. He holds a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, an MS in Computer Science from Union College in NY, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
