About | Brady Forrest

Brady Forrest is the founder and leader of Ignite Talks, a global platform for dynamic five-minute presentations with a unique format: 20 slides, each auto-advancing every 15 seconds. Ignite is used for internal knowledge-sharing at organizations such as the Gates Foundation, World Bank, Amazon, and Google, and also serves as a public speaking teaching method for students and professionals. This initiative has fostered community building and personal growth, impacting countless individuals worldwide. Brady also provides 1:1 coaching to founders and executives to enhance content clarity and engagement.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Sentz Global, a Series B crypto & fintech company focused on overseas monetary transfers. His involvement spans from operational to business development. He has been with Sentz since the idea stage—first as an advisor & investor and later as an executive. Brady also built the MobileCoin Foundation, the non-profit governing the MOB blockchain, where he now serves as a Director.

Additionally, Brady is a Kauffman Fellow and an active angel and LP investor. Being a Kauffman Fellow connects him with a vibrant community of top venture capital investors and professionals. As a Loomis Council member at the Stimson Center in DC, he advises on technology trends. Previously, Brady worked at O’Reilly Media, Microsoft, and Khosla Ventures. He also co-founded Highway1, a hardware accelerator, and GenLab, a venture studio where he now serves as a Venture Partner.

Beyond his professional roles, Brady is a director at two non-profit organizations: the Community Arts Stabilization Trust (CAST), which purchases, renovates, and manages buildings for art organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area; and Ideas Beyond Borders (IBB), which makes forbidden books and internet sites available to the Arabic world.
