Andy Triedman is a partner at Theory Ventures, where he invests in early-stage software in the AI and ML space. His recent investments include AI-native security platforms Dropzone and Maze, agentic infrastructure Aampe, data lakehouse LanceDB for multimodal AI, and AI-first ERP Doss.

Andy brings experience as both an operator and investor. Prior to Theory, he was the first product manager at Replica, a Founders Fund-backed startup creating synthetic data products and applied machine learning systems to model the built environment.

Previously, he was an investor at Innovation Endeavors, where he led the Series A for ML and advanced computation companies including Afresh, Third Wave Automation, Replica, and Atom Computing.

Andy started his career at Bain & Company and studied computational neuroscience at Brown University, where he built brain-computer interfaces and trained ML algorithms on neural data.
