Seungrok Jung is an AI/ML engineer who brings more than 15 years of experience in AI software engineering and AI accelerator hardware design.

At AMD, he specializes in optimizing and benchmarking performances of machine learning algorithms on AMD devices. His interest lies in analyzing recent ML models and extracting the best performance of the models on different choices of ML frameworks, libraries, GPU kernels, and toolkits. He is also interested in contributing to ML open-source communities so that everyone can enjoy the full potential of the AMD devices.

Before joining AMD, Seungrok worked on AI chip accelerator and Mobile SoC processor design at the corporate R&D center of SK Telecom and Samsung Electronics. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
