About | Erik Brynjolfsson

Erik Brynjolfsson is the Jerry Yang and Akiko Yamazaki Professor and Director of the Stanford Digital Economy Lab at the Stanford Institute for Human-centered AI. He is also co-founder of Workhelix (http://workhelix.com), a company that develops actionable corporate game plans for applying Generative AI. In addition to being one of the most cited scholars of the economics of AI, Erik is the co-author of hundreds of academic articles, five patents, and six books, including (with Andrew McAfee) The Second Machine Age, and Machine | Platform | Crowd.
