Jan Leike is a theoretical computer scientist by training, now working on empirical deep learning research, with the goal of increasing the probability that humanity's transition into a world full of AI goes well.

Dr. Leike leads the Alignment Team at OpenAI. Previously he was at DeepMind and the University of Oxford. Dr. Leike's PhD was on a mathematical model for artificial general intelligence.
