Jacqueline “Jackie” Acker serves as the Deputy Privacy and Civil Liberties Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency. In addition to running a traditional privacy program and leading transparency, she has been leading in AI governance policy since 2018, drawing on experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, data management, bioethics, and equal employment law. Ms. Acker shares her passion through multiple venues including teaching at American University Washington College of Law for their Master of Laws program and contributing to IAPP's inaugural AI Governance Certification as well as mentoring.
